Belly Casting

Amy and Katie came over last Friday and we did belly casts! It was a lot of fun (and fairly messy). I am sure this is abnormal, but that day was the first time that I have ever casted anything (yes this means I have never paper-mâchéd anything before - no not even balloons). 

The semi-finished product is at the bottom... I am not sure what I am going to do with the belly cast. It needs to be sanded down a bit and glazed, but after that it's up in the air! I am currently thinking that I will either paint it white or artfully decorate it and put it in the baby's room as a decoration.
