We had a great day today! We got to see the Lindauer's, Grandma and Grandpa, Aunt Debbie, Uncle Ray and Dad. It was fun and we had all sorts of yummy food!! After we left Chardon we made a quick stop at Sam's Club and decided that instead of going home to clean and do laundry we would go see a movie!
We saw the Hunger Games. I thought it was a pretty good adaptation. There were a few parts that were left out of the movie, but nothing that would make it hard to understand or that couldn't be inferred from the scenes that were added. In adapting a 1st person narrative to a 3rd person movie there had to have been some difficulties and I'm sure changes were necessary just because of this... overall I thought they did a good job. I'm already excited for the next one!
Right at the end of the movie we got a call from Chelsea! I had a feeling she would call while we were in the theatre and I ran out and chatted with her really quickly before going back in for the final scene. Hopefully we will get to talk with her tomorrow!
I start my practicum tomorrow and once it is done I am all set to graduate with my MLIS!! YEAH!!! (Finally!) I'm doing my practicum at the KSU library in the reference department. I'm excited, though I'm not looking forward to the time it will take away from my evenings, weekends and most of all summer!
I promise the more pictures of the baby/belly are coming. We took some this morning and hopefully I'll get them up in the morning!
