Santa Visit

Saturday Ayla and I spent the day together. We hung out with Jeff in the morning, before he went to work, played, and Ayla took a nap. After the nap Ayla changed into a party dress (she got to pick which one she wanted to wear!) and we headed up to Legacy Village. Legacy offers a free picture with Santa, which I thought was a good deal. With a free picture, I expected there to be a crazy amount of people, but when we got there someone was paying and we were pretty much the only two customers in the place. Ayla wasn't too sure about Santa, she was okay when he got down and played with her and showed her the bears that were sitting on top of some presents. However, once it came down to posing for the picture she wasn't too sure... The kid that took the pictures was so sweet, I had about 12 pictures to choose from so I found the one where she looked like she was in the LEAST amount of pain and had the least amount of fear on her face... Here is the end result (for some reason it didn't scan all that well so just know that the real one is a little better).

Santa Hat and Snow Pants

Santa

Ayla and I went to visit mom and dad the weekend before Thanksgiving. While we were looking at Christmas decorations in the barn we found one of the oldest toys I own; a Santa bank! It plays music when you put in a coin. One of my favorite pictures from when I was little was of Craig and I playing with this same toy in Grandma Buckley's basement. :) Ayla, like her mama, is a huge fan!
