Melt

Jeff and I went out to dinner with our friend Earl last night. We went to Melt for the first time. It was yummy! We had about a 45 minute wait, but that wasn't a big deal because we hadn't seen Earl in so long that we had plenty to chat about! We all ordered sandwiches which were supper yummy and we all agreed that we didn't like the coleslaw (it was bitter). Jeff and Earl, very excitedly, ordered Black Cherry sodas to go with their meals. After dinner we went back to Earl's place and chatted for a while before finally heading home. I have to say that dinner was pretty yummy! (Though I am a huge fan of carbs and I certainly got my fill last night.) Jeff got to take my leftover sandwich to work today for lunch.

The Belly: Week 30

Here we are at week 30. We took pictures this morning before the ultrasound and while we were at the doctor's office for the ultrasound I had the opportunity for another photo-op!

Oh... I think I figured out why the pictures are blurry. There is a chance that I move before Jeff finishes taking the picture...

Ultrasound

We had an ultrasound today. Mom, Jeff and both of Jeff's parents were able to go with me. I'm pretty sure the baby slept through most of the ultrasound... there wasn't much activity in there. Here are the ultrasound photos. I have a regular doctors appointment tomorrow so I'll give an informational update after that! (And for those of you wondering... no we still aren't finding out the gender and no there are no photos that may indicate the gender).

Pam and Andy's Wedding

Over the weekend we got some family time in when we traveled to Michigan for Pam and Andy's wedding. We had a nice time. The wedding was beautiful and the reception was fun. On Sunday we went to Donna and Kenny's for the poprawiny. While we were there we got to chat with people we didn't see enough of the night before and we had some yummy Polish food to boot!

Chippy's Graduation

I mentioned having video of Chippy's name being called at commencement and I finally got around to editing it down so it's really just him. Sorry it's so dark; the entire arena was dark starting when the graduates entered and we couldn't see anything! The video is only a few seconds and they call one person's name before Chips.

Chelsea's Countdown!

GAH!!! Chelsea is 90% done!!! She will be back so soon and we are so excited for her to come to Cleveland to visit when she is finally back in the states!!!!!!!!

Summer

Happy 2nd day of summer!

I did a great lettuce harvest yesterday. My four (once little) lettuce plants porduced enough leaves to last us the remainder of the year! Jeff, the baby and I will be eating some amazing salads in the upcoming weeks. Luckly after being washed and put in the fridge this fresh picked lettuce lasts considerablly longer than any I've ever bought in the grocery store.

I was comfortable all day yesterday and all evening, until bedtime. When I went to lay down I was so hot I turned the air-conditioning on for the first time this season. I do have to say I was bummed when I woke up this morning and it was cooler outside than it was inside... All I can think is that it should be cooled off by tonight!

Dinner on June 11, 2012

We went out to dinner to celebrate Chippy before he left for the summer and after his graduation. Aunt Karen sent me pictures to add to the minimal ones that I was able to snap throughout the night. It was a fun (and decently large!) gathering! I do have to say that the baby likes to eat at D'Angelo's!

June 9th

While Mom, Dad and I were helping Chip move and watching him graduate Aunt Karen and Aunt Lora took the kids to Port Clinton to play and visit with Uncle Les! Here are some pictures that Aunt Karen took of the frivolities.

Jeff and I went to mom and dad's on Sunday. We took some stuff from off dad's hands so he doens't have to worry about getting rid of it or moving it to Port Clinton. We had lunch, visited with Uncle Chip, the kids, Chippy and Dad. The barn and garage are getting so empty as stuff is getting relocated to Port Clinton!
